Writing a Multiple-Choice Exam
A multiple-choice exam can contain up to 80 questions at most, with up to 6 statements (distractors) per question.
The system can verify questions marked with only one correct answer.
It is recommended to create the exam with the requirement to answer all questions, without an option to skip. The system does not support partial selection.
Randomization of exams – Creating columns
Starting from the Spring Semester (2025) תשפ”ה , preparing the columns in multiple-choice exams will be carried out by course teams. Please prepare accordingly.
For your convenience, explanations and recommendations for creating columns are provided.
Answer Sheets
The system can only check original answer sheets adapted for computerized grading. Sheets must be collected from the Certification Academic Office. Do not make copy of the answer sheets independently.
The center does not handle copying exams.
Exam Grading
At the end of the exam, only fully completed answer sheets should be submitted, without the exam questionnaires, to Dafna Yelinik at the Learning and Teaching Development Center: Ullman 215, Tel. 2726, Email: CheckExam@technion.ac.il.
Submission of sheets is accepted from Sunday to Thursday, between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM. It is recommended to coordinate your arrival in advance.
Please send the answer key via email to CheckExam@technion.ac.il.
A results report in Excel format will be sent to the teaching team within 4 business days from the date of submission of the answer sheets and the key (the later of the two). The report includes a list of grades and various statistical data, such as: grade distribution, average, reliability, and more.
After receiving the results report, the answer sheets should be collected back and handed over to the faculty secretariat.
(The faculty secretariat is responsible for transferring the answer sheets to the certification studies scanning unit).
